THE 40th MSOSH AWARD 2022

21st December 2022

The Malaysian Society for Industrial Safety was registered on the 27th of April 1971. MSOSH is a leading association for OSH Professionals and has 50 years history of successful growth and development.

The MSOSH Occupational Safety and Health Awards (MSOSH Award) are given annually to Malaysian organizations that have demonstrated exceptional performance in OSH. The MSOSH panel of skilled and committed auditors conducts thorough document and site verification audits of the audited companies before the MSOSH Technical Committee evaluates them for the appropriate awards based on their qualifications and capabilities.

The MSOSH Award program was inaugurated in 1982 and it continues to be actively supported by multifaceted member organizations since its inception.

The award was established to honour the participating organizations that are actively and continuously enhancing their occupational safety and health (OSH) performance, not only in accordance with their typical lagging indicators but also in accordance with their consistency, persistence, and resilience in their OSH practices at the workplace.

The MSOSH Award is designed to properly recognize all member organizations and businesses that have demonstrated excellent OSH performance and/or significant OSH process improvement through a reliable Safety and Health Management system.

Asian Supply Base (ASB) was awarded the MSOSH AWARD 2022 GOLD CLASS 1 as a recognition of its achievement in OSH performance throughout 2021. The 40th MSOSH award 2022 ceremony was held on 21st December 2022 at Sunway Resort & Spa and the award ceremony was presented by Guest of Honor, YB Tuan Hj Mustapha Bin Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Human Resources.

For the record, ASB has received GOLD CLASS 2 recognitions for two consecutive years (2021 & 2021) since participating in the MSOSH in 2020.

The most recent recognition served as a benchmark for ASB to demonstrate a high level of commitment, management, and performance in regard to OSH.
