All Weather Jetty & Quay Wharf

The All-Weather Jetty and Quay Wharf situated at the Northern Foreshore of the Base, with a sheltered sea frontage of 1,066 meter and water depth of 6 to 10 meters. This allows ASB to accommodate adequate berthing space up to 12 supply vessels at any given time.

With its featuring of wide concreted working platform along its perimeter, it provides ample working space needed to facilitate the loading and unloading of essential supplies such as equipment, tools, and consumables needed for the offshore requirements, and allowing vessel’s quick turnaround time from six to eight hours.

Flood lights located at strategic work areas provide clear visibility for night operations.

Bulking and Liquid Mud Plants Storage Facilities

Dry bulk facilities providing 10,000 MT jetty silos storage, blending and a complete cutting and handling facilities for barite, cement, blended cement and bentonite ready for loadout to supply vessels.

Liquid Mud Plant facilities providing mixing, storage and pumping drilling fluids services for OBM, WBM, Brine and Base Oil with a total capacity of 140,000 bbls to support offshore drilling services in East Malaysia and Philippines.

Material Handling Equipment and Manpower Services

Material Handling Equipments (MHE) and transport vehicles such as mobile cranes (tonnage ranging from 60 to 350 tonnes), forklifts, trucks and trailers are available.

All equipment are operated by competent MHE Operators and trained support personnel.

Cargo-Carrying Units


Offers a full range of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) certified Cargo-Carrying Units (CCUs) with lifting slings and shackles including equipment such as containers, open top baskets, long baskets, rubbish skips, drum baskets, and gas racks.

Specializes in the provision of marine transportation and support services for the offshore oil and gas industry. We manage our own fleet of marine vessels.

Multi-Bay Workshops

There are 33 well equipped multi-bay workshops and warehouses with an approximate total land area of 55,235.46 m2 to facilitate companies to carry out activities as follows:

Auxiliary Police and Security Measures

The base is a fully protected area.

All entrances and exits are manned round the clock by Auxiliary Police personnel. Our security is further enhanced with 24 hours CCTV surveillance for security purposes.

Additionally, ASB is now automating and digitizing the gate system by installing RFID systems at all entrances for better perimeter management and increased security.

Explosive Storage Bunker

We are licensed under Rule 8 & 58 of the explosives Enactment (Cap 200) to store explosive materials for the clients in their Oil & Gas exploration and drilling activities.

Specially-built containers are available for the storage of Oil Well Explosives (OWE) materials up to 10,000 kg. The bunkers are situated at a designated safe and secure location.

Open Yard and Warehouse Facilities

Adequate open yards, closed storage and open storage facilities are fully available and equipped with basic amenities.

9 Warehouses and 161 acres of open yard.

Warehouses with a total floor storage area of 42,204 m2 are available to accommodate storage of chemical products, drilling tools, and other consumables for current and future needs of the exploration, development and production activities of the Oil & Gas industry.

Crew Change Service

ASB aims to leap beyond a mere logistic company providing facilities and services such as All-Weather Jetty, Marine Services, Warehouse and Open Yard Storage, but moving forward we wanted to embark into added value services such as Crew Change Facility services to optimize and maximize our client’s operation and revenue.

Seafarers are all of the crew members who work on the navigation, engine, catering or electrical departments of the ship while passengers are not part of the ship’s crew and are on board for the purpose of being transported from one location to another.

ASB Terminal Crew Change are to help clients to optimize ship operations, improves control/measure system by centralized client facilities such as warehouse, offices, etc. in one single location, control of illegal activities to offshore platform, A one-stop facility that is separated from the general public can help to ease any implementation of changes in O&G SOP, Boost the local industry such as hotels, transportation, SMEs and Contract Obligation with PAC Crew Change is part of the scope of work in the contract between the PAC’s and ASB.

ASB Terminal Crew Change operating hours are 24 hours and also provide services such as transportation for crew or passenger to pick up or drop outside ASB facility, accommodation, Food & Beverage and drug or alcohol test.

Through ASB Crew Change Terminal, all passenger or crew must comply to wear and make sure personal protection equipment are valid before boarding the vessel. The Terminal can accommodate up to 180 crew or passenger at one time.

Provision Of Pan-Malaysia MCM & HUC Contract

Asian Supply Base Sdn. Bhd. (ASB) has been awarded the Provision of Pan-Malaysia Maintenance, Construction, Modification (MCM) and Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC) Contract by Hibiscus Malaysia on 27th November 2024. The contract is awarded to a consortium comprising ASB, Shapadu Energy Services Sdn. Bhd., and Unsur Hebat Sdn. Bhd.

The scope of the contract includes the provision of offshore MCM and HUC services for Package B8, covering the North Sabah and Kinabalu Oil asset. The duration of the contract is five (5) years, with options for an additional three (3) years and a further two (2) years extension.

This award marks the first MCM and HUC contract for ASB, signifying the company’s expansion into offshore topside maintenance and construction services in addition to its core supply base and logistics operations.
